Château Lauzanet sits on the picturesque banks of the Garonne, just southeast of Bordeaux, where its blend of clay-limestone and gravel soils create ideal conditions for Bordeaux’s signature grape varieties. Now in the hands of third-generation winemaker Patrick Forcato, who has infused his family’s legacy with his own vision, the 15-hectare estate produces wines of exceptional allure. This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc offers a beautifully balanced structure, with rich layers of dark black fruit on a juicy, full-bodied palate, finishing with enticing hints of spicy liquorice.
