Hubert de Boüard is the co-owner of ChâteauAngélus, 1er Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion and a world-renowned consultingoenologist. He joins forces with Yvon Mau, a Bordeaux house since 1897, toreveal beautiful, little-known terroirs with great potential. With a commonambition: to produce exemplary Bordeaux wines, in a fruity, balanced styleaccessible to all.
Founded in 1938 by Christian Labat, this family estate has acharming 48 ha vineyard, including 23 ha in Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, its cradle, supplementedby vines in Graves (Ch. Dorléac), on the other bank of the Garonne. The wholehas been led since 2000 by Virginie Barbe, granddaughter of the founder.

Tasting Notes:
Deep purple color. Expressive anddelicate nose, of redcurrant and morello cherry. On the palate, balanced andcrunchy attack. The expression of red fruits and blackcurrant is elegant,and enriches a palate with supple flesh and fine grain. Serve with roastpoultry, veal escalope or roast pork with prunes.
