SO Smoothie Mango
SO Smoothie Mango is made by Alize, the world famous manufacturers of French cocktail mixers.
Alizé, the famous line of liqueurs, welcomes another entry to its catalogue. The line of vodka- and cognac-based liqueurs, which was founded in 1984 and gained massive popularity in the mid-90s when publicly supported by 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G., serves us a big treat with its newest product Alizé So Smoothie.
As opposed to its predecessors, which due to their filling into transparent glass bottles as well as their loud and trendy design almost instantly revealed the nature of their content, Alizé now decided to go into a whole different direction when designing their newest product. Alizé So Smoothie’s bottle is held exclusively in grey tones, thus not revealing its interior to the beholder. Merely a tiny writing on the bottle’s label reveals the newest offspring of the Alizé line to be a mango liqueur.
Alizé So Smoothie is a vodka-based alcoholic smoothie – and according to its maker the first chemically stable product of its kind. Therefore, the product’s briskness makes it necessary for it to be stored in an non-transparent bottle in order to protect the liqueur from insolation which could decrease its quality.
Besides its practical function the design of Alizé So Smoothie also has the advantage that it is very demonstrative. The curved yet simple design of the flask paired with its metallic grey colour grants it a unique character, which optically sets itself apart from its forerunners in a very lovely manner.
