Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is the quintessence of Villa al Cortile’s wines, one of the Piccini estates. Sangiovese grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days, then they are subjected to a first refinement in oak barrels for at least 24 months. During this period, the fresh wine slowly absorbs all the aromas typical of the wooden barrels. It finishes its refinement in the bottle for another 6 months.

Deep red colour in the glass. It is a wine of great structure, round, with complex notes of licorice and cherry. Full, spicy, elegant on the palate, with soft tannins and a persistent finish. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
