Established in 1997, Sileni Estates is located in Hawke’s Bay on a mixture of gravel and clay, each bringing a different characteristics to the wine. A small amount of oak was used with this wine to add a little richness to the palate. A hint of almonds on the nose is very inviting, followed by dark fruits and a fresh palate with just the right amount of acidity. This is a great wine for matching with food, try it with salmon or tuna.
